Laser-Cut Wooden Jewelry
The Laser Cut Wooden Jewelry Section of my shop ...
…is the one part that differs from every other because it was not an idea I had on my own!
It was actually the brainchild of a friend, she had the laser and the ability to cut these awesome designs and I had the time to put them together, plus jewelry cards were already part of my line. So we teamed up. Every design you see in the shop is something she came up with. I would try sending her some cut files and she would be like I want to design my own. For me it was always like Christmas Morning when I’d get a new bag of earrings.
The Hardest part of this has been not keeping one of each design for myself. I take the jewelry to the markets and sell them in person customizing them with the markets, paint pens, and glitter before the people ever left the event.Â
Now that the website finally had an online store up there is a place to sell them online. And so you know we are currently the exclusive seller of these designs because they are not sold anywhere else. But you can find some of my partner’s other files for sale at her design shop on Etsy the Digital Hobby Store.

We partnered up to do several local Markets, I was mostly manning to booths and taking products both of us made. Jewelry Cards were already part of my line and something I was doing for others. My Business was not nearly as established and I was asked if I might be interested in doing jewelry. Her Job was making the cuts, mine doing the jewelry cards, attaching the hardware and taking it to the markets, I was also doing online posts. When choosing the hardware as someone with very sensitive ears I decided to try the backs and test the hypoallegenicness. If I had a reaction I wasn't selling them. Didn't mean others might not have a reaction just that at least I knew it would pass the test of some people with earring allergies. Every Market I attend I have the Markers, Paint Pens, and Multiple colors of Glitter glue so when people leave they are leaving with earrings decorated just how they want them.
About the Earrings
What you need to know
The Earring Line is mostly cut from scraps of wood left over from larger products. In a way we are recycling the unused wood. Rather than just toss out the scraps they are put aside for use on smaller projects. Most of the earrings are cut out of plywood, occasionally it is other types of wood but the majority of the time its birch plywood. Rarely does an entire piece get put on the laser to be made into a bunch of earrings. It is almost always wood left over from other projects.
It was not intentional to made more than one pair of earrings out of a single design, But the first time I got my hands on a pair it could work on and I sent photos of it over, then on if it might work it went in the bag with freshly cut earrings to see can we make it into a pair. By being able to do this not only are we able to offer up more earrings but it also means less waste.
The Digital Hobby Store
The Digital Hobby Store is a place people can buy digital downloads off of Etsy. The Earring designs you see in my shop are no currently listed for sale but they might be one day it is something the owner has talked of before and I have even taken photos of the earrings in the Past with the Digital Hobby Logo for use.
The Owner is a Friend and Neighbor it was actually her idea to start the jewelry line. She does most of the Designing, thou I have purchased a few cut files and sending them to her for use. She also does the cutting of the earrings when she has time, she's kept very busy with her primary business cutting and engraving with her Laser. Some of those files can be purchased in her Etsy shop.

The Products
What types of Hardware do you use?
We Primarily use Stainless Steel Hypoallergenic Studs and Ear Wires. A number of types and brands were home tested before these were settled on being the ones to be used for the collection but they are small meaning with can bring you more delicate and smaller designs as well as I for one did not have reactions to the backs.
   There have been a number of times at markets I have given extra backs out to prospective clients with likewise similar sensitivities to try if they are comfortable in their own homes and they have come back later and purchased earrings. This is a small number of people.
   There are a few sets of Nickel Free Studs I have those in their own Collection but once those are sold out We have no plans to continue with that back. Mainly because those backs were more expensive when purchased and have a larger head that attaches to the earring.
Can I specialty order?
That depends on exactly what you are wanting.Â
- If you want a specific quantity of the same number of earrings contacts me directly to discuss the quantity. I will have to discuss it with my partner and what the possible turnaround time it would be.
- Specialty backs – that is tricker that would be dependent on the following factors: How many pairs, Do I have any of that design that does not already have backs attached to it? Can I find the right hardware needed? and you will pay more because my cost will be more for having to get a different type of backing.

Will you color the earrings?
Simply put yes. Earrings can be colored in almost any color you want. Below are the Color Charts
The Earrings I like are stained one color can I get them stained in a different color?
It Depends. If The earrings I have are natural wood yes they can be stained. If I do not already have a pair in the natural color we are not sanding them down so they can be stained in another color because it could cause the earring to break.
If I get the earrings and I have a reaction can I return them?
On the Earrings all sales are final. Due to the Earrings being a piece of jewelry that goes through a body piercing we do not accept returns of this product. Because the earrings are made from Wood there is no easy way to sanitize them and the glue used to attach the backs at least on the newer earrings is nearly impossible to get the backs off the earrings to change them out.
